Here is a summary, by Rocky Phillips, of the YRPL (York Region Poker League) Summer Deepstack tournament. I was 4th after a good solid game over the two days.
My bustout hand: Q8s vs Q7o and the villain, Terry P, spiked a 7 on the flop to take a 275,000 Chip pot.

21 levels of 30 min. blinds over two days with 54 players equals the YRPL 2 Day 20K Big Stack. At the end of level 12, blinds 900 - 1,800 w/ 200 ante, 14 players counted and bagged the 1,080.000K in chips in play ranging from the big stack 228,200K to the short stack 17,000K average stack 77.5K.
Day two players were seeded by stack with a random seat draw. Blinds began at 1,000 – 2,000 and over the next 9 levels ended at 8,000 – 16,000 w/2K ante. On day two we ran a separate tournament for those already busted with a 90 min. late entry for the early busters from the main event to join in.
Congratulations to Terry P winning the main event 4K after defeating Phil M 2.3K heads up. Rounding out the final table Paula 1.3K, Kevin (PP) 1K, Peter A 800, Slava 400, Tracy G 250, Bobby W, 250, Dan W 250, Ross T. 250.
