Inaugural Tin Cup (2012)

The inaugural "Tin Cup", mixed game Poker Tournament took place, last week (25Mar), in Gilford Ontario. The event was hosted by 705 Ontario Poker, well organized by Don Gardiner, Stephen Brydson &  Mark Martin.

9 teams consisted of 6 players each,  from all over the Greater Toronto Area, each played No Limit Texas Hold'em, Limit Hold'em, Pot Limit Omaha, and a Cash Game equivalent of PLO and Hold'em. There were small cash prizes, with bragging rights the main reward.


It was hotly contested with the "We Be Donks" team declared victorious after 10 hard fought hours of Poker. They raised the prestigious Tin Cup high overhead and were cheered by few!

My team, "YRPL Men", pictured, above in our colour coordinated outfits finished 2nd. It was a nice event that included the rare chance to socialize with other Poker players.
